When I was growing up we had a hot water system that you had to light a fire to get hot water ! I was the only daughter of a single mother. So it fell to me to stack and chop the wood when it was delivered and then light the fires to get the hot water , and I loved doing all of it. But , you could never stand in the shower for too long because the hot water would run out ! Hence I LOVE me some long hot showers now ! 😘
